  1. Daren, if I'm going to drink with friends (which I apparently do on Mondays), is any particular beer or acoholic drink better than others, or is it all a wash?

  2. wine(preferably red) because it is made from grapes, not beer, its made from wheat, and not alcohol, esp. grain alcohol

  3. 6:30: 1 omega egg, 3 egg whites, 1/2 cup salsa, 1 kiwi, 2 strawberries, tbsp cashew butter
    10: 10 cashews
    12:30: 10 oz chicken breast, 2 cups veggies(Asparagus, zucchini, squash, spinach, green beans), 3 tbsp tomato soup
    3:30: 10 cashews
    7:30: paleo tortilla soup (no tortillas, 4 oz chicken, 1/2 cup onion, 3/4 cup diced tomato, low sodium chicken broth, 1/2 avocado)

    12:00- grilled chicken salad
    2:30- fruit cup
    5:00- banana
    8:00- stuffed bell peppers, steamed carrots and broccol

  5. paleo challenge day 30 - Ryan W.

    Breakfast - 3 eggs ( 3 yolks, sorry had to eat at the hospital) + 1 bowl of fruit w/ cantaloupe/strawberries

    Lunch - 6 oz grilled chicken + 1 bowl of fruit w/ cantaloupe + honey dew melon + strawberries

    Dinner - chicken w/ paleo marinade + 1 handful of macadamia nuts + sauteed mushrooms

    Dessert- 1.5 oz raisins + walnuts + honey

  6. 7:30- 2 eggs, ground beef, broccoli, mushrooms, spinach

    10:00- brazil nuts, carrots

    1:00- grilled chicken with lettuce, tomatoes, cucumbers

    3:00 brazil nuts

    7:00- ground beef mix (ground beef, broccoli, carrots, and mushrooms), avocado, and homemade salsa.

  7. 7:30 - 1 grilled chicken tender, handful baby carrots, 10 grape tomatoes
    10:30 - 1 banana
    12:30 - jason's deli salad bar: lettuce, spinach, califlower, broccoli, tomatoes, carrots, artichokes, mushrooms, handful of sunflower seeds & basalmic vinegarette dressing
    6:30 - 1c. green chile stew w/shredded chicken and corn
    9:00 - paleo brownie and cup of decaf coffee (in front of the fire!!)

    **Let us know how the donuts taste in the morning Daren!!**

    Before we blog we must share that today was a travel day. Katie & I are in Reno for a business trip so it was tough to comply between rushing out the door to changing planes ect.... Daren, we will put a dollar in a slot machine just for you!

    7:30 Large Shake (strawberries, banana, unsweetened coconut & almond milk)
    11:00 handful of cashews
    2:00 handful of cashews & peanuts
    3:30 chicken casar salad
    8:00 16 ounce ribeye steak, wedge salad with ranch dressing, 1 roll. 1 glass of red wine, 1 glass of scotch & water

    Apparently my food poisening is back (which means it is probably more like a stomach bug) so I have been very selective as to what I eat due to fear of making myself sicker. Not fun

    8:00 1 cup of coffee with little cream and splenda
    12:00 tiny bag of peanuts and ritz cracker crisps - Southwest airline snacks
    3:00 Greek salad that I ate 1/2 of in the airport - romaine lettuce, onions, TINY amount of feta cheese and rasberry vinagerette dressing
    3:30 1/2 of a lemon poppyseed muffin. I HAD to have something with substance and my sugar level was low. Gary claimed this was all in my head.
    8:00 12 ounce prime rib, steamed brocolli, 1 sourdough roll & 1 glass of red wine

  9. 7:15- 3 oz swordfish, 1/2 baked sweet pot., 2 kiwi
    9:00- tea w/vanilla almond milk
    11:00- 5 baby carrots, 4 cherry tom., 1/2 green bell pepper
    1:15- freebirds salad: mixed field greens, white chicken, roasted veggies, pico and sliced avocado
    4:00- 1/4 c. apricots
    6:30- 3 oz chicken, brussell sprouts, tomatoe, 1/4 avocado
    8:30- banana with 1 T almond butter and 1 T cashew butter

    3:00 - 1 paleo cookie
    6:30 - 1 paleo cookie (they r 2 good)
    8:00 - Taco Salad ( 3 oz lean ground beef w/green peppers & onions-) 1 oz guacamole-1 boiled egg on romaine lettuce

    6:30PM 2 turkey patties with raw onion and tomato (roughly 8oz) with steamed carrots brocolli and asparagus

  13. 8:00 am 1 pancake w/a few raisins (made with almond meal)

    9:30 am 1 cup of coffee w/spenda and dash of cream

    11:00 am 5 walnuts

    2:30 pm 2 oz of meat loaf with 1 cup of veggies(from dinner the night before) and handful of baby carrots and a diet coke (hectic day at work, needed to comfort myself)

    4:30 pm 1 apple

    6:30 pm 4 ozs. of grilled chicken w/2 cups of sauteed veggies w/pineapple chunks (added a little raw honey to veggies)

    10 pm 3/4 cup of raw broccoli

    10:00am - tea with honey
    11:30am -bell pepper (1) and cashews (1 oz)
    1:30pm - paleo beef stew (1 1/2c.)
    4:00pm - banana (3/4) and cashews (1 oz): Pre WOD
    6:15pm - handful of raisins and few cashews: Post WOD
    7:45pm - mango salmon from Daren's blog and paleo zucchini mexicano and paleo cookie (1)

    1PM - 6oz chicken breast, 1 tbsp lime juice, 1 orange

    7PM - 14oz salmon, 8oz asparagus, 2 tbsp lime juice, 2 tbsp olive oil

  17. DAY 30---didn't think I would make it this far!
    7:30am 2 omega 3 eggs w/2 cups coffee w/Splenda & 1 Paleo mini banana muffin
    9:30am 6 baby carrots
    10:30am 1 Paleo cookie (your are so right Carol, these are great!)
    1:30pm couldn't leave work because of the snow 1 banana & 1/4 cup walnuts
    4:30pm 2 cups Green chili pork stew (my family likes this as well, darn it!)
    9:30pm 2 small Paleo cookies & 1/2 cup of Coconut milk (my comfort food for the snowy day.)
